Austin and her love for the Philippines

Austin has been coming to the Philippines a number of times since 1973 and the American singer-songwriter has not skimped on words in describing just how much she loves the country. In fact, she even called it “home away from home,” as per media report.

She has held several shows in the Philippines, but what may be the most memorable would be the two benefit fundraising shows she held for the Yolanda victims in December 2013. The concerts were organized in cooperation with Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization that provides houses for families in need.
