A Mediterranean inspired condo-type hotel accommodation is the unique lodging theme decided by Sta. Barbara Suites. Located in Banilad, Cebu City, this high-rise hotel gives you a complete home instead of the usual studio-type room which is limited to beds and bathrooms.

The idea is to incorporate a bedroom, a small living room, dining, and kitchen area in a hotel unit allowing guests to enjoy a complete home concept while touring Cebu. The only downside to this, some observers say, is that you may not want to leave your hotel room anymore to tour the city but just enjoy the hotel till the last day of your stay in Cebu.

Rooms

All rooms at Sta. Barbara Suites have air-conditioning, high-speed Internet, a kitchenette, dining area, reception area with posh sofa, separate bedrooms and private bathrooms, hot and cold shower, safety deposit box, flat screen cable TV, and a terrace overlooking portions of the pleasant Banilad community. These are the general room amenities.

Specifically, there are 3 room types. The one-bedroom affair with amenities mentioned above. There’s also the two-bedroom affair where the private bathroom is shared by the two bedrooms. And then, the three-bedroom affair, with also a common bathroom for all 3 bedrooms.

Kitchens have complete utensils for cooking and dining plus an electric stove, a ref, a toaster, and a microwave oven. You can cook your own meals if you prefer that to what’s offered at the hotel restaurant. The two and three bedrooms have bath tubs.

Accessibility to Other Places

Sta. Barbara Suites is near street corner commercial establishments. Thus, if guests feel the need to get extra snacks or personal care products, grocery stores are just within short walking distance. Some bars and restaurants are also accessible on foot. Other restaurants are Kaona Grill, Barbecue Boss, Calda’s Pizza, Proverbs 9:5, and Jet Bro’s Grill House, all within the vicinity of Gov. M. Cuenco Avenue. A shopping center nearby is Gaisano Grand Mall.
