Get ready to groove in to summer’s best with Ipanema Summer Sunscream Music Festival. This year’s ultimate summer-fun experience will be happening again in Green Lagoon Park, Compostela, Cebu on the 22nd & 23rd of May. The resort can accommodate 10 to 12 thousand participants thus, perfect for this big event.

On its second year in Green Lagoon Park, this magnanimous event will feature the all-time favourite bands to give a rhythmic blast of music that will make you move your body to the beat. Witness Urbanbub and Kamikazee’s last performance as a band along with the other featured bands such as Powerspoonz. Almost 30 of the country’s most talented DJ’s will be there to gather with the DJ representatives from Japan, Korea, and San Francisco California. This year’s entire festival will be covered by Sky Cable.

Rider Beach Tournament on May 22-23 will begin this festival with players from the esteemed UAAP league. Prizes are pegged at P20,000, P15,000 and P10,000 for first, second and third place, respectively. A P2,500 registration fee per team of three is to be paid. Registration includes three tickets to the party on May 23, three exclusive beach volleyball shirts and loot bag.

The Ipanema Summer Sunscream 2015 will also feature the Rider Dip & Dash Aquathlon on May 23. Registration for the Aquathlon will be at P1,500 for full distance (2km swim + 10km run), P1,200 for half distance (1km swim + 5km run), and P800 for the fun category (500 mm swim + 2.5 k run). Registration is inclusive of an Ipanema Summer Sunscream ticket, loot bag, shirt, towel and tumbler.

This will be hosted by celebrity Roxanne Barcelo and radio DJ Tom Candy.

The Ipanema Summer Sunscream Music Festival started 8 years ago, first held at Bantayan, Cebu. Every year, music festivals are celebrated by Ipanema and its partner, Rider – both are brands from Brazil with the same maker – to bring fun-filled summer experience to participants and are currently changing its venue every two years.

Tickets are also available at the gate of the venue. Bringing of tents is free of charge if guests would like to have theirs. Room package of P8,000 for a two-night stay for 2 in a Deluxe Room in Green Lagoon Beach is also available, and non-Cebu participants may have an airport pick-up at P2,500.

Participants are accommodated with a free ride starting 8am at IT Park Compostela with a 30-minute interval only. Participants only need to show their tickets to be able to avail of the free ride… because no one does summer better than Summer Sunscream!
