At first glance, Eddie’s Hotel may look ordinary. But as the hotel’s watchword declares, it’s not just an ordinary Cebu hotel. And indeed, the classic saying that books ought not to be judged merely through how their covers look apply as well to Eddie’s Hotel. It offers what cosmopolitan hotels usually have.

Eddie’s Log Cabin

It all started with Eddie’s Log Cabin, which was opened in 1950 as Cebu’s first restaurant. It had an international ring to it through its old-west design reminiscent of the American old west. The walls were lined with logs—like a real western cabin—and wall decors and signs reflected American humor. Some branded initials are still marked on the logs. The restaurant still caters to customers today in Cebu. Eddie’s Log Cabin definitely is no ordinary thing in Cebu’s tourism today.

Guestrooms

Eddie’s Hotel brags of no less than 50 luxurious and spacious guestrooms furnished with quality beds and their cover sheets. There are modern room amenities like cable TV, furniture, posh closets, well-maintained bathroom, air-conditioning, and all-day room service. Everything about Eddie’s Hotel guestrooms is homey and settles you like you’re just home. And yet you’re far more than just being home.

For instance, the restaurant makes you kind of away to a countryside in the US. All meals from sunrise to sundown are made more luscious with sizzling US steak, tasty corned beef, Navy bean soup, and mast but not least, coconut cream pie specially baked by Grandma Nell. The same special quality service is enjoyed in the smaller Beverly Room which is ideal for small-group banquets and other such receptions. A team of able planners takes care of everything. Aside from that, a function room is ready for small corporate meetings, business seminars, or even interviews seating 20 participants. This room is equipped with modern equipments for effective presentations.

Landmarks and Tourist Spots Nearby

Eddie’s Hotel is conveniently nearby the city’s key commercial districts. It is also near the international and domestic airports, and city hall. For tourist spots, Eddie’s Hotel is near the Magellan’s Cross and the waterfront port areas and some worthy beach destinations.
