It seemed like a battle of LED roses is going on in Cordova in Mactan Island, Cebu.

After the photos of 10,000 glowing white LED roses went viral on social media in February, a new set of LED “blooms” has caught the attention of the netizens. This time, Cordova’s newest attraction boasts of red LED roses.

It was first mistakenly tagged as “51k Red Roses,” but it was later corrected as “Liza’s Little Garden.”

Situated only 2kms away from the 10000 Roses Café in Cordova Home Village Resort, visiting the new LED garden of 2,000 red roses will be worth the trip since you can hit both spots one after the other on the same day.

Why red? The resort owner, Edeliza Hansen, reportedly likes everything red, according to a local daily report.

Hansen told the local media that she ordered the LED roses from China while thinking of strategies to make the resort more interesting for the guests.

The LED roses were first lit on April 22 and will remain lit from 5pm to 10pm daily.

Cordova Home Village is open from 8am to 11pm. Entrance fee is P50 for kids 10 years old and below and P100 for adults, inclusive of the day-long use of the resort’s swimming pool and of course, an opportunity to take plenty of pictures with the red LED roses.
