For a taste of Asia in Cebu [particularly a unique taste of Japanese Tatami room accommodation], you can’t go wrong with Hotel Asia Cebu. It is ideal for all types of tourists, whether one on a tight budget or someone used to having luxurious vacations.

This multistory hotel rises high along Don Jose Avila Street, Capitol Site, in Cebu City. Aside from being strategically located near shopping centers, banks, and the provincial capitol, Hotel Asia Cebu is just 30 minutes from the airport if you travel by car.

Hotel Asia Cebu has two unique room types to offer, aside from the usual Standard, Deluxe, and Superior rooms and Executive and Junior Suites that are also often found in other hotels. There is the economy Plus room option which, though smaller than standard rooms, offer first class amenities, nonetheless. The wide bed is good for two occupants and there is a fridge and TV set in the room. Shower and toilet are also available. You get all that for an economy room deal.

The Tatami room, on the other hand, has a Japanese room setting, with furnishings interestingly set low on the floor, with the floor itself covered with typical Japanese floor mats conducive for a Zen sitting posture. You get a feel of Japanese living in a Tatami room option and get Zen relaxation after a hectic and tiring tour of Cebu. The bathroom has a deep bathtub plus the usual toilet facilities with a Japanese washlet.

All Hotel Asia Cebu rooms have air-conditioning, wireless Internet, washlet [a modern Japanese bathroom idea], IDD/NDD phone, a mini bar, and safety deposit box, among other features.

Hotel Amenities

Hotel Asia Cebu is proud of its Japanese restaurants, namely Han-Nya and Yakiniku Restaurants. There’s also the rooftop bar overlooking the nearby Cebu cityscape. Guests may request for private dining at Han Nya while Yakiniku offers billiard game entertainment, Yakiniku also affords a scenic view of Cebu City through its wide glass windows.
