The Kasadya sa SRP in the South Road Properties (SRP) in Cebu City will have its official opening on December 8.

It had its soft opening last December 1 and it will be expected to remain open until February 28, 2018.

This year, Kasadya will have a tagline, “Big Boom sa Sugbu.”

To quash safety concerns, the Department of Engineering and Public Works (DEPW) promised to do weekly inspection of the facilities’ rides, booths, and garbage disposal.

DEPW Assistant Head Engr. Josefa Ylanan said the weekly inspection is their way of showing that public safety is their number one priority.

This year’s Kasadya sa SRP will be operated and managed by the Professional Advertising and Production Specialist Inc. (PAPS), who won the bid in November.

The event is estimated to bring in no less than P3.6 million in profits for the government of Cebu City.
