A lavish Italian villa-inspired interior so skillfully hidden behind Greek Parthenon-style pillars is what guests of the White Villa Hostel will be greeted with. This home-turned-hostel welcomes travellers from all parts of the world and give them a sense of home despite being miles away.

The Molion family owned the house and decided to renovate it to accommodate travellers, backpackers, families, and groups into the 20-bed space property. Described as the dream project of Michael Molion, a Cebuano Management Engineer, the homey hostel was brought to life.

White Villa Hostel is actually the home of the Molion family. It is where the children grew up and every nook and corner is well remembered by the family for many fond memories. Since the hospitality business in Cebu is growing, the family decided to open their home to everyone who wants a place to stay in Cebu.

White Villa Hostel is along Hernan Cortes St. in Mandaue City and is open to backpackers and large groups. It also has facilities for team buildings, small parties, group gatherings, and seminars. There is an indoor fountain, lounge area, tea room, chapel with hand-painted walls, a conference table with TV, kitchen, and a large patio where guests can socialize.

The rooms are spacious and has a modern vibe. The dominant colors are grey, white, and brown, living up to the minimalist vibe of the hostel. There are rooms for sharing with a large group (for the backpackers) while there are also rooms that cater to smaller groups perfect for friends and family. Each of the room is fitted with a garden view, to make waking up even more wonderful. These rooms are also equipped with basic facilities to make every guest’s stay comfortable.

A continental breakfast is also available daily for guests.
