Cebu is getting closer and closer to the rest of the world! Four new international routes will be launched this March at Mactan Cebu International Airport. Nobody wants to miss this historic launching, so here are the dates for the inauguration of each new route:

March 15: Cebu – Los Angeles – Cebu

March 27: Cebu – Taipei – Cebu

March 28: Cebu – Xiamen – Cebu

March 30: Cebu – Dubai – Cebu

With these new routes opened at the Mactan Cebu International Airport, travelling makes easier and faster for all tourists and Cebuanos coming from and going to California, Taiwan, China and UAE. Likewise, these 4 new international flights will draw more balikbayans and  a lot more tourists will discover the wonders of the Queen City of the South, and of course, this also paves the way in travelling to Cebu’s neighboring provinces.

Update: Philippine Airlines Launched Cebu – Los Angeles Direct Flights during the airliner’s Visayas Roadshow in Radisson Blu Cebu last February 17. This first long-haul direct flight to Los Angeles, California from Cebu will utilize a 254-seat Airbus A340-300, which is equipped with both business and economy class seats.
