13. Chateau de Busay
This place was built by Paul Keiner, a builder from the US Army Corps of Engineers, in 1968 as his home; and was later acquired in 1983 by Roland Werro, a Swiss cheese-maker and gourmand, who turned it into a fine dining restaurant.
It started out as a small restaurant; undergone a lot of improvements since 2004; and is now one of Cebu’s top fine dining destinations. Chateau de Busay is nestled on top of lower Busay Hills in Nivel Hills, Lahug offering a spectacular view of the valley and the city, and a rejuvenating countryside breeze.
