Sumilon, eco-friendly Paradise
Neighboring the shoreline is an adjacent island of Sumilon.
Inhabited in it is the Sumilon Bluewater Resort which developed the island into an eco-friendly paradise for those who are beach goers or simply just wanted to taste rural life and all you can hear are natures call. White sand beaches decorated the island with luxurious aquamarine life. Sumilon Island is the first marine protected area in the Philippines. Light refreshments, local and international dishes are served at the resort’s restaurant. Besides diving, you can also go bird watching, do beach picnics with the family, fishing, hiking, island tours, paddling and trekking.
From the port of Oslob, there are pump boats that will bring you to the island. So another added adventure to venture. Curiosity pays for it.
